Review by hotel critic
Our stay at Landhotel Am Wenzelbach was pleasant overall. The room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a balcony and cozy seating area. The bed provided a restful night's sleep, thanks to the memory foam mattresses.Breakfast was satisfying with a variety of options, including tasty homemade produce. The restaurant offered authentic German cuisine, though we found better dining options in the town center. However, traditional local beers and schnapps at the hotel were a nice touch. The hotel's rural setting was ideal for exploring Prüm's forested surroundings on foot or by bicycle. The staff, while not fluent in English or French, were friendly and accommodating, and the owner made an effort to assist us.Although the self-check-in process had a hiccup, the picturesque location and comfortable amenities made our stay enjoyable. I would recommend Landhotel Am Wenzelbach for a peaceful retreat in the Eifel region.
